Working together with others for a healthier community!

Tyrone Regional Health Network is proud to be an active member of the Healthy Blair County Coalition.

The Healthy Blair County Coalition (HBCC) is an active collaboration of individuals and organizations working to promote the social, economic, emotional, and physical well being of our area residents.

Discover more about the community health needs assessment

HBCC periodically conducts a community health needs assessment. The assessment helps identify priority areas to address the health and well being of community members.

Tyrone Regional Health Network uses information from the community health needs assessment to develop an action plan to address the priority areas in the communities it serves.

Tyrone Regional Health Network – building a healthier community

Our outreach efforts to address the health and well being of those we serve are ongoing. Some of our efforts include the development of the Tyrone Fitness and Wellness Center, walking trails on the Tyrone Regional Health Network campus, our annual Northern Blair County Corporate Fitness Challenge, community education programs, health fairs and health screenings for the community and area employers and through support of a variety of area fitness, physical activity and sports events for people of all ages.

At Tyrone Regional Health Network, we operate on a continuous improvement philosophy and that extends to our efforts to work with others to build a healthier community. We continue to evaluate our current efforts and look for new opportunities to support the health and wellness of area residents.
