Cardiologist Michelle Stoudt Joins Tyrone Regional Health Network Medical Staff

Michelle Stoudt, DO, FACC, Board Certified Cardiologist and Fellow in the American College of Cardiology has joined the Tyrone Regional Health Network medical staff.

Dr. Stoudt, who is a provider with Cardiology Associates of Altoona, now has office hours at Tyrone Hospital’s cardiology office and also provides inpatient cardiology consultations at Tyrone Hospital. At Tyrone, Dr. Stoudt joins Hany Shanoudy, MD, Michael Larkin, DO and Gorgi Kozeski, DO, all of Cardiology Associates of Altoona, in providing services at Tyrone.

Dr. Stoudt has more than twenty-six years of experience as a practicing cardiologist, serving residents of the State College and Altoona areas. She provides general cardiology services and has a special clinical interest in women’s cardiology and preventive cardiology.

Dr. Stoudt is a graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM). She completed a Fellowship in adult cardiovascular medicine with Certification in Nuclear and Non-invasive Cardiology at Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia. She completed an internal medicine residency and rotating internship at PCOM.

During her training at PCOM, Dr. Stoudt held leadership roles including Chief Medical Resident and Chief Intern. Her outstanding performance was recognized as she was named Medical Resident of the Year and Medical Student Excelling in Cardiology.

During her career, Dr. Stoudt has delivered educational presentations to physicians and other healthcare professionals on cardiology topics such as Heart Failure, Women and Heart Disease, Coronary Artery Disease, Congestive Heart Failure, Hypertension, Cardiomyopathy and Hemodynamic Monitoring.

Her professional memberships include American College of Cardiology, American Osteopathic Association and the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association.

Appointments can now be scheduled with Dr. Stoudt at the Tyrone Hospital cardiology office located at Tyrone Hospital at 187 Hospital Drive, Tyrone PA and by calling 814-684-6375. New patients are welcome and most major insurances are accepted.

In addition to the cardiology office hours at Tyrone, many of the frequently needed heart diagnostic services are also conveniently available at Tyrone Hospital including EKG, echocardiograms, exercise stress testing, Holter monitor testing, event monitoring, peripheral vascular studies and pacemaker insertion and inpatient consultations.
