Tyrone Hospital is pleased to welcome John Roth, M.D.as an emergency department physician.
Dr. Roth is Board Certified in both Emergency Medicine and Family Medicine. He has more than twenty-four years of experience as an emergency medicine physician.
In addition to the services he now provides at Tyrone Hospital, Dr. Roth serves as Director of the Quick Response Service (QRS) for multiple ambulance services in Huntingdon County.
Dr. Roth’s past professional experience includes serving as Director and staff physician in the emergency department at J. C. Blair Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon. He was also a staff physician in the emergency department at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.
Dr. Roth is a graduate of Marshall University School of Medicine in Huntingdon, West Virginia. He completed a residency and internship in Family Medicine at Latrobe Area Hospital.
Dr. Roth is certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). He is also a certified instructor for both ACLS and PALS.
