Electroencephalogram (EEG)

Electroencephalogram or EEG testing detects the electrical activity in the brain using small, flat discs (electrodes) attached to the scalp. Testing may take up to an hour in a resting state and may even  be performed while a person is sleeping. EEG testing may be used to help diagnose brain disorders.
