Biography
University Orthopedics Center
Dr. Barter is a fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in foot and ankle surgery. His training and experience include unique competencies in the treatment of foot and ankle, knee, hand, trauma, and pediatrics.
He completed his Foot and Ankle Fellowship at the hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He is a graduate of the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed an internship at Botsford General Hospital, an affiliate of Michigan State University, and his residency at St. Michael Hospital, an affiliate of Oklahoma State University.

Board Certified Diagnostic Radiologist. Medical Director of the Tyrone Hospital radiology department.
Expertise includes general radiology, neuroradiology, musculoskeletal radiology, screening and diagnostic breast imaging and interventional radiology procedures.
Graduate of the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Completed an internship and residency in diagnostic radiology at Texas A&M Health Science Center in Temple, Texas. Additional graduate studies at Georgetown University. Undergraduate studies completed at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, graduated with Honors and Distinction.
Professional memberships include the Radiological Society of North America, American College of Radiology and the Society of Breast Imaging.

Dr. Burns-Johnson is a native of the Philadelphia, PA area.
She is a graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Philadelphia, PA. Her residency training at the East End Health Alliance (Southampton Hospital, Peconic Bay Medical Center and Stony Brook University Hospital) on Long Island in New York, included general surgical care and breast surgery ranging from services provided in a community hospital setting to a level 1 trauma facility. She also has specialized training in laparoscopic or minimally invasive surgical techniques.
