Mr. Michael Hubert has joined Tyrone Regional Health Network (TRHN)/Tyrone Hospital as Vice President of Human Resources.
As Vice President of Human Resources Mr. Hubert’s responsibilities include overseeing all human resource departmental functions including management of Human Resources staff, recruitment of personnel, ensuring federal and state law compliance, Department of Health regulation compliance, wage and salary administration, and workers’ and unemployment compensation. He will also provide support and guidance to both management and staff on personnel matters.
Mr. Hubert is an accomplished Human Resources professional with more than twenty-five years of experience at the executive management level.
He served as Vice President of Human Resources at J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital for more than twenty-two years. He also served for several years as Director of Human Resources for the City of Altoona.
Prior to entering the Human Resources field, Mr. Hubert was an information technology professional. He worked in the business sector as a computer programmer and analyst at the former Butterick Company in Altoona. He also worked as a computer system analyst at the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board in Harrisburg.
Mr. Hubert’s educational background includes a Master of Arts degree in personnel administration and labor relations from Saint Francis University. He also earned an Associate of Science degree in computer science and a Bachelor of Science degree in general agriculture from Pennsylvania State University.
