Dr. Amy Nedostup
Biography
Dr. Nedostup specializes in quality patient care while providing audiological evaluations, vestibular evaluations and hearing aid services for all ages.
Dr. Nedostup obtained her Doctor of Audiology degree from Salus University. Additionally, she holds a master’s degree in audiology from James Madison University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication Sciences from The Ohio State University.
Nationally certified by the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association, as well as a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, Dr. Nedostup is licensed for audiology through the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Nedostup has been practicing Audiology since 1998. Her experience as a clinical audiologist focuses on the diagnosis of auditory and vestibular disorders and rehabilitation to include hearing aid services. Dr. Nedostup was an investigator at the United States Army’s Aeromedical Laboratory in Ft. Rucker, Alabama where she spent four years researching effective treatments for tinnitus in the military population and the auditory and vestibular effects of blast induced traumatic brain injury in the active duty soldier.
She practiced in Washington State as the director of Northwest Hearing Center and in Tennessee at The Center for Audiology.
Dr. Nedostup is a native of Youngstown, Ohio. She currently resides in Hollidaysburg with her two sons and her husband Wil, who serves full time for the Pennsylvania National Guard as a medivac pilot and aviation training officer.
In her free time, she enjoys hiking and camping.
