Shonda Day of the Tyrone Rural Health Center has been promoted to the position of Outpatient Coordinator for both the Tyrone Rural Health Center and Pinecroft Medical Center, primary care offices that are part of Tyrone Regional Health Network.
Mrs. Day has been employed at Tyrone Regional Health Network since 2005.
Her initial role was as a Certified Medical Assistant at the Tyrone Rural Health Center where her duties included patient care and serving as Vaccine Coordinator.
In March, 2017 Mrs. Day was promoted to Field Office Coordinator at the Tyrone Rural Health Center and at that time assumed some management responsibilities. In her new role as Outpatient Coordinator she will perform her duties in an expanded role helping to coordinate general business activities and daily operations for both the Tyrone Rural Health Center and the Pinecroft Medical Center.
Mrs. Day is a graduate of the YTI Career Institute where she earned an Associate of Science degree.
