The Pinecroft Medical Center

On June 22nd Tyrone Regional Health Network (TRHN) officially opened the new Pinecroft Medical Center.

The new facility attracted a lot of attention from the start! People noticed the handsome new building while it was being constructed at the busy intersection of Pleasant Valley Boulevard and Sabbath Rest Road. Excitement was also communicated about Tyrone Regional Health Network having a presence in the Altoona area. Pinecroft is situated in “Northern Blair County” and also at the Northern edge of Altoona.

The new medical center in Pinecroft is part of TRHN’s ongoing effort to serve area residents who select TRHN for needed healthcare services. The addition of the Pinecroft facility helps insure that our affiliated physicians and other healthcare providers are accessible to people who reside in the growing Northern Blair County area which includes northern Altoona, Bellmeade/Pinecroft, Bellwood and Tipton areas.
Our physicians are now closer to home and work for many area residents!

Two of our primary care physicians are now offering services at the new Pinecroft Medical Center.

Bellmeade Family Medicine, the office of Fidelis Ejianreh, D.O., Alexas Claar, CRNP and Tia Dudukovich, PA-C relocated to the Pinecroft Medical Center from their previous location in the neighboring Martin’s plaza. Dr. Ejianreh needed additional space for his growing practice.

Internal medicine physician Lawrence Levinson, M.D. and Kary Fiore, CRNP also relocated to the new Pinecroft facility from their former location in Tipton. Dr. Levinson closed his former practice, Tipton Diagnostic and Medical Center and joined Tyrone Medical Associates, TRHN’s primary care physician group, in spring 2015. In addition to primary physician care, Dr. Levinson also continues to conduct clinical medication trials at his new office location.

In July, ProCare will open an outpatient physical and occupational therapy facility at Pinecroft. Other physicians are also eyeing office space at the facility. We expect the Pinecroft Medical Center to be fully occupied by fall.

Like other recent TRHN projects that involved facility construction or modification, the new Pinecroft Medical Center was constructed by local developer Jeff Long. The former LaScalia’s building was expanded to 12,670 square feet to provide the space needed for the medical center. Plans for the new facility were developed cooperatively by leaders from TRHN and ProCare, a leading physical and occupational therapy provider.

The Pinecroft Medical Center is the most recent office in TRHN’s primary care network. In addition to the Pinecroft Medical Center, Tyrone Regional Health Network also provides primary physician care at Tyrone Medical Associates and the Tyrone Hospital Rural Health Center – both located on the TRHN campus, the Tyrone Hospital Rural Health Center in Houtzdale and Toftrees Family Medicine in State College. TRHN also manages the Glendale Area Medical Center in Coalport. TRHN also provide pediatric rehab services at the We CARE Therapy Services location in Altoona!

The new Pinecroft Medical Center is conveniently located just off the I-99 Pinecroft exit at 417 Sabbath Rest Road, Altoona Pa 16601. It is also easily accessible from old route 220. Bellmeade Family Medicine can be reached by calling (814) 940-8195 and Lawrence Levinson, M.D. can be reached by calling (814) 684-4600.
