The Tyrone Regional Health Network Foundation has kicked off the 18th Annual Tree of Light campaign.
Participation in the Tree of Light is one way the community can support Tyrone Hospital through the Tyrone Regional Health Network Foundation. For a donation of $5 or more, you can place your name, the name of your family, a deceased loved one, an organization, or business on a tree displayed in the hospital’s main lobby during the holiday season.
Funds raised from this year’s Tree of Light will be directed towards the purchase of 3D Mammography technology for Tyrone Hospital. 3D mammography is an imaging test that combines multiple breast X-rays to create a three-dimensional picture of the breast. A 3D mammogram is used to look for breast cancer in people who have no signs or symptoms.
Please see the attached Tree of Light form for details on how to submit your donation, or you can pick up a form in the main hospital lobby.
Community members are invited to attend a tree lighting ceremony on December 6, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. in the Tyrone Hospital main lobby. This year the event is being held in conjunction with the Tyrone Hospital Auxiliary’s annual holiday tea. The ceremony will include comments from TRHN leaders, a benediction, a special vocal performance provided by a choir of TRHN employees and refreshments.
If you have any questions or require additional information regarding tree of light donations or the tree lighting ceremony, please contact Tara Morrison at (814) 684-1255 ext. 2101 or via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org
