Community members age 12 and over are invited to participate in FREE training to learn how to use a fire extinguisher. The training will be held in the main lobby at Tyrone Hospital, located at 187 Hospital Drive in Tyrone, PA. The event will be held on Friday July 19th from 9 am to 4 pm.
The training will be conducted using the Bullseye Digital Fire Extinguisher System. The system uses technology for easy and convenient training. It uses a laser guided fire extinguisher and digital fire flames that realistically simulate what it would be like to use an extinguisher on a real fire. Individuals can participate in the training on a walk-in basis. The training is focused and only takes a few minutes to complete.
The BullsEye Digital Fire Extinguisher System that will be used for the training, offered at Tyrone Hospital, is a resource from the South-Central Mountains Regional Task Force Healthcare Coalition. Tyrone Hospital is a coalition member.
The South-Central Mountains Regional Task Force Healthcare Coalition provides “All-Hazards” planning, mitigation, response and recovery services to the citizens of the eight county region that includes Blair, Centre, Huntingdon, Fulton, Mifflin, Juniata, Snyder, and Bedford counties.
